The Company

The New Zealand Snow Safety Institute is a trademark of New Zealand Snow Safety Institute Ltd which in turn is wholly owned by the Temple Basin Ski Club Inc.

As Temple Basin Ski Club Inc. is a charitable trust, all income generated from the courses remains with the  club and is reinvested in facilities to improve and expand the offering.

Whilst all instructors on the courses are professional and appropriately qualified, the administration of NZSSI is carried out by volunteers who are happy to give of their time so others can enjoy the unique mountain environment at Temple Basin.

Location

All courses are conducted at Temple Basin Ski Area in Arthur’s Pass National Park, 4km west of Arthur’s Pass Village.

Accommodation

All course fees include accommodation and meals, staying in the mountain lodge.
